SPALDING Gymnastic Academy landed an impressive haul of 38 medals at their most recent competition.
The gymnasts were competing at a National Invitational Competition at Kingston in Milton Keynes – and they had a tremendous day out.
The Spalding girls were up against clubs from Preston, Bedford, Peterborough, Bletchley, Bicester and Wisbech among others.
Competition was fierce, with an impressive total of 204 gymnasts taking part.
Two squads went, one at a level called Roma. They won 26 medals in total, with every single competitor getting their hands on some silverware.
In the second round – which was a higher level called Moscow – all of Spalding’s competitors managed to win medals too, making it 12 in total.
It was another great day for the club, who are now looking forward to 2011 when the gymnasts will look to carry the club forward to even more success.
