Saracens Head teenager Ben Stafford was in fine form for the Silicone Engineering-backed SHR team at Cadwell Park in Louth.
The 18-year-old, who has two British 250cc titles to his name, is targeting success on the UK road race scene after spending last year racing in Europe.
Last year he did well to finish 12th in the S2 class and fourth in the Under 21 age group in the European series and his new venture began superbly as he blasted to victory.
The two-man team of Stafford and Russ Mountford finished third in the Monex Motogrande Three-Hour Endurance Race.
That performance was more impressive than the bare result sounds as he was riding a 600cc machine while the first two were both on 1000cc bikes.
Just 15 minutes later, Stafford, whose father Andy was giving able support as his mechanic, was back on his bike to contest the individual event where he came out on top.
