Autograss racer Caine Stubbs-Parnell (16) from Holbeach St Marks crowned his final junior season with second place at the Walker Race Cars Nationals in Yorkshire.

Out of 76 competitors, he also drove the first Nissan Micra to win a trophy at any national championship.

Travelling all over the UK with mechanic dad James, the University Academy pupil also won the Eastern Open Challenge and finished fourth in the UK Autograss Championships.

Stubbs-Parnell, who has only been competing for two years, drives for Spalding Autograss Club (No. SP129) and will drive in Seniors Class 1 next year.
