Stock car and banger racing fans have lots to look forward to over the Easter weekend with two meetings at the Adrian Flux Arena, King’s Lynn.

On Saturday (6pm), the Unlimited Bangers are in action alongside the Two-Litre Saloon Stock Cars and 1300cc Stock Cars.

On Monday (1pm), there will be a fun-filled afternoon at the Wacky Races. Two-Litre Bangers, featuring a caravan race, will be joined by 4x4 SUV Bangers and Reliant Robins, as well as Junior Bangers.

It will be a busy weekend for one Spalding-based family. Paul Lambe competes in the Unlimited Bangers on Saturday night, before returning with two SUVs on Monday afternoon for himself and partner Bridget Woolley, who is more accustomed to racing in Lady Bangers. The big 4x4s should provide some spectacular action on the shale surface.

Simon Chapman, Nathan Lake (both Spalding) and James Jackson (Long Sutton) are also among the entry of Bangers over the weekend, which has attracted a number of drivers from Holland to compete in the Unlimited class.

The Two-Litre Saloon Stock Car entry features the cream of the country’s young talent, as the 25-and-under Championship of Great Britain is on the line. Spalding’s Tom Yould and Sutton St James racer Simon Venni will have an eye on the silverware.

The entry of over-25s includes Jamie Clayton (Moulton) and Andi Newman (Gosberton).

Last weekend’s BriSCA Formula One Stock Car action saw Donington’s Mark Sargent come second in the annual White & Yellow Grade Series Final for lower graded drivers.

Spalding-based BriSCA Formula Two Stock Car drivers Barry Clow and Justin Parker could only manage a best result of ninth between them. Stockport’s Dylan Williams-Maynard and Peterborough racer Andrew Palmer claimed the two feature races.
