South Holland ace Scott Dunham has won the Bowls England National Champion of Champions singles competition.

The Carter’s Park bowler defeated Surrey’s Duncan Heard from Woodbridge Hill BC 21-12 in the final at Beach House Park.

Dunham reached the final thanks to a 21-12 win against Sussex’s David Hubbard in the last four, whilst Heard defeated Ed Morris from Essex 21-19.

In the quarter finals Dunham defeated David Henning, of Sevenoaks Bowls Club in Kent, by a comfortable 21-8 scoreline.

He then teamed up with Annalisa Bellamy to deliver glory for Lincolnshire in the the Bowls England National Mixed Pairs competition.

They defeated the young Kent duo of Emily Ferguson and Perry Martin 23-9 in the final held at Beach House Park, Worthing.

Dunham and Bellamy had to also beat Buckinghamshire pair Donna Brookes and Dean Brookes 19-12 in the last four.
