BOTH Consti C and Pyramid A delivered dominant performances in Spalding and District League to continue their fine form.
Consti crushed BSC 7-0 to make it two maximum wins in three games, while Pyramid A went second after racking up a fifth win on the spin.
That was also to the tune of 7-0 – a second whitewash on the trot – with Gosberton on the receiving end. An unfinished 22 from John Twell (R60) was the highlight.
For Consti, John Walker (R100) reeled off breaks of 22 and 21 at BSC.
Elsewhere, Mick Johnson’s 79 was the top score of the week. The O160 handicapper also pocketed breaks of 63, 34 and an unfinished 24 as his Consti B side beat Consti A 5-2.
Plenty of quality breaks were amassed at Crowland, too.
Cue ace Rob Childs (O190) led the way with eight substantial scores as his Crowland B side beat Holbeach C 5-2.
Childs’ best two offerings were 56 and 50, while Holbeach C veteran Hugh Pinner (O170) trousered scores of 43, 33 and 27 and Alan Yardley (scr) added a 27.
