Rob Childs lit up Spalding and District League last week – but his 91 break couldn’t stop a Consti C win.
The classy Crowland B potter (O190 handicap) racked up the best break of the season so far en route to winning his frame, but Consti C still made it four wins on the spin.
That’s because Mick Peet (R110) and John Batterham (R120) delivered the goods, making Childs’ win against Jason Rose (R80) the only Crowland joy in a 4-3 loss.
There was also a big break from Consti B’s Mick Johnson (O160) as his side saw off Holbeach B 5-2. He trousered a cool 82, which was backed up by an impressive 50 from team-mate John Keeton (R30).
But it’s Pyramid B who top the table after seeing off Long Sutton by a maxmimum 7-0.
