SPALDING Autograss Club are bidding to go out with a bang as they conclude their season on Sunday.
The racing starts at 11.30am and again promises to be fast and furious, with members trying to gain points for the Club Championship.
The Hurdletree Bank-based club declared their last meeting a success, with visiting drivers from Cambridge, Nottingham, Trent and Scunthorpe all competing.
There was plenty of close racing and the ‘Roll of the Day’ went to Sean Young (CA37) who managed to put his Class 6 on its roof after a collision with the tyre wall.
The club’s Martin Anderson said: “On behalf of the club I would like to thank all our supporters, members and visiting drivers for making this a good season for us. We hope to see many of you on Sunday.”
Fans are advised to check www.spaldingautograss.co.uk or phone 07982 704127 after 5pm Saturday if the weather looks to be bad.
