County champion Alex Wray of Deepings Swimming Club was presented with his hoodie and T shirt for the British Championships taking place in April at the London Aquatics Centre.

If Wray performs to his best he could represent Team GB in either the FINA Swimming World Championships 2015 or the BAKU Junior European Games.

Wray is currently in his final preparations for these championships and he is in fine form, winning the 50, 100, 200 and 400 freestyle events at the Lincolnshire County Championships.

He also broke the 50m freestyle County Championship record which was held by Simon Howitt since 1997. Wray’s time was 23.78 seconds.

He thanks Active 4 Ever and B&E Site Services who are helping to achieve his dream by sponsoring him for these championships and beyond.
