Round-up of the action in the Peterborough Youth League




Leland Dent delivered a five-star goalscoring spree as Spalding United Blue maintained their winning start to the Peterborough Youth League Under 15 KO Cup campaign.

Dent’s goal haul helped the Tulips record a third successive victory as they defeated near neighbours Holbeach United Black 11-0.

Ben Greenacre and George Frost both fired braces for the Tulips with Noah Dexter and Mariyan Asyov also on target.

Holbeach United Yellow are hot on the Tulips’ heels in second spot after they hit double figures in their 11-1 away win at Bourne Town Red.

Callum Boon and Daniel Prince both hit hat-tricks for the Tigers with Kevin Ibeneme (2), Max Seaman (2) and Thomas Hoyle also netting.

Jayden Nicholls hit the Wakes’ consolation.

Holbeach United Red are level on points with their club-mates after a 7-0 away win at March Town Athletic.

Ronnie Clayton cracked a hat-trick for the Tigers with Harry Kelman (2), Aidan Holt and Grant Wills their other marksmen.

Deeping Rangers are among the leading lights in Group B after a 4-2 away win at Whittlesey Blue which was courtesy of goals from Alex Gavaghan (2), Miles Morris and Luke Woodhouse.

Pinchbeck United Sports went down to a 4-1 home defeat against Netherton United Ravens in Group A.

Bourne Town Red and Deeping Rangers were both on cloud nine after their victories in Group A of the Under 16 Cup.

The Wakes ran out 9-0 winners against their Claret club-mates with Joseph Broughton banging in a hat-trick for the victors.

Archie Hodson and Freddie Brooks both bagged braces, with Jacob Sherwin and Harry Revell also on target.

Table-topping Deeping matched that goalscoring feat by beating visiting Holbeach United Yellow by the same scoreline.

Daniel Tarver struck a hat-trick for the hosts with Joe Barrett scoring twice. Samuel Fielding, Kristian Gagyi, Fraser Lewis and Harvey Robertson completed their goal haul.

Pinchbeck United Sports returned from their trip to Oundle in Group D with a share of the spoils after a 2-2 draw. Leandro De Abreu and Jay Waldron scored their goals.

Moulton Harrox Blue suffered their first defeat of the Under 18 Cup campaign after a 5-1 away reversal at Bourne Town Red.

Nathan Bills – who blasted a seven-goal haul last week – hit a hat-trick for the Wakes with William Hawkins and Matthew Wright also scoring. Joshua Latter replied for Harrox.
