Pinchbeck girls up for the cup at Newmarket




Pinchbeck United girls are aiming to reach the final of the Under-11 League Cup by beating Newmarket Town.

The young Knights, coached by Darren Spillett and Brian Adams, got past Peterborough’s ICA Sports to reach the last four.

Evie Morris and Poppy Martin were both on the scoresheet which meant that their progressed through the group series unbeaten.

The two coaches named Erin Adams as player of the match, with mentions too for goalkeeper Freya Willerton and defenders Erin Adams and Holly Spillett.

Pinchbeck are looking for additional players ahead of next season when they will move up from seven to nine-a-side games.
