HOCKEY: Neil leads push for promotion
Long Sutton have a new coaching set-up to develop players and attract more signings.
The ladies section train on Wednesdays from 7pm at the Peele Leisure Centre, starting next week.
Neil Evans has agreed a two-year coaching deal as he looks to help both teams push for promotion.
He is a current National League player and his coaching skills cover the whole range from beginner.
The men's section train on Tuesdays from 7pm at the Peele Leisure Centre from next week.
They have secured Mike Yeoman on a two-year coaching deal.
He comes with an excellent pedigree - as a full senior international player, he can boast more than 40 years as a coach.
He has achieved major success and recently guided Peterborough men's first team to the National League.
A club spokesman said: "We look forward to Mike helping all three men's teams raise their level over the next two years by assisting improvement and are excited for the coming season."
Pre-season training is open to current club players who are looking to play adult hockey this year as well as any players looking to come and join Long Sutton.
