Charlotte Maplethorpe struck five times in Spalding ladies' home win over St Ives 2nd.

Evie Maltby and Maddie Haunch also scored to make it 7-0 at Glen Park.

The dynamic duo of Maltby and Maplethorpe offered a masterclass in attack supported by tireless running from Jess Ball.

Their efforts were soon rewarded to put Spalding 1-0 up.

Maltby's short corner routine put Spalding further ahead before Maplethorpe added three more goals.

Spalding entered three teams into the under-11 section of the South Lincs League tournament at Glen Park.

The Panthers had three wins, scoring 12 goals and conceding one.

After a strong performance at the previous round of games at Bourne Deeping, Spalding Lions under-13s ended the day with three wins - scoring 16 goals and conceding three.

The Tigers managed one win, one draw and one loss but the Pumas finishing with three defeats.
