Moulton Harrox enjoyed one of their best results of the season this afternoon when they thumped one-time Peterborough League premier division championship challengers Uppingham Town 5-1.
Harrox are still sixth in the table and could finish as high as fourth should they win their final two games. Crowland Town are 14th after losing 3-1 at home to runners-up Netherton.
Pinchbeck United all but assured their premier division safety with a 1-1 draw at Oakham United. Ricky Dickinson and Oliver Gedney saw red for United, but more importantly, Edgaras Buzas’s goal secured them the vital point. Deeping Rangers Reserves went down 4-0 at Sawtry.
In division one Holbeach United Reserves won 3-0 at Kings Cliffe, but must get a point at unbeaten league leaders Thorney next week to secure promotion to the premier division. Long Sutton Athletic went down 6-0 at Ketton.
Two goals from David Ponsford helped Gedney Hill beat Guyhirn 4-1 in division two, the other goals coming from Luke Baines and Lee Jackson.Pinchbeck United Reserves drew 2-2 at home to Coates Athletic Reserves.
Division four side Tydd St Mary went down 2-1 to Oundle Town reserves in the League Shield final.
Wyberton are Boston League premier division champs again and ended their season with a 4-1 beating of relegated Freiston. Kirton Town avoid relegation but lost 3-0 at home to Spilsby
