HOLBEACH United have announced details of seven pre-season friendly fixtures ahead of their UCL Premier Division campaign.
John Chand’s Tigers, who return to training on June 25, are back in action against Soham Town Rangers at Carter’s Park on July 12 (7.45pm).
They will also face Oadby Town, Louth Town, Wisbech Town, Holwell Sports, and Shildon AFC before the start of the new season, while a date with Stotfold is still to be firmed up.
Chand’s men will be put through their paces with 12 training sessions too, as they bid to write the wrongs of last summer.
Last year the Tigers were in turmoil, with Shaun Keeble stepping down as boss and a number of players leaving the club.
The threat of demotion on a ground grading issue also affected their plans – leaving Chand with a tough opening to his first season as a manager at this level.
It couldn’t be more different this time around, with the club also set to announce a number of exciting signings in the coming weeks as they bid to break into the top eight of the UCL.
