TIGERS: Brooks gutted to leave

Have your say

LEWIS Brooks has admitted it was a wrench to leave Holbeach United.

The left-sider was released by the Tigers last week and was quickly snapped up by UCL Premier Division rivals Boston Town.

Injury and the form of Adam Jackson had limited Brooks’ pitch time in recent weeks – making his decision a bit easier.

Brooks said: “I’ve been in and out of the team and maybe if I’d been at another club I’d have looked to move on earlier.

“But Holbeach were doing well and they’re a good bunch of lads. It wasn’t an easy decision to leave, but one I think I had to do.”
