After losing their opening game of the season, Pinchbeck Girls Under-14s have now gone unbeaten in their last three games.
They maintained their good run with a 2-1 defeat of Histon on Saturday.
Visitors Histon started the better of the two sides and only a left-handed save from Pinchbeck keeper Rachel Gibbs stopped them going ahead.
Excellent close dribbling skills from Freya Peters gave striker Annie Vayro a couple of chances to put the home side in the lead, but it was Histon who scored first with a scrambled goal.
Pinchbeck soon equalized. A shot from Peters was pushed away by the Histon keeper and Vayro followed up. Vayro then combined with Peters, for Peters to score with a low shot into the left corner to make it 2-1 to Pinchbeck just before half time.
With no further goals in the second half, the score remained 2-1.
