An early start to the campaign sees them face Harborough Town at Outgang Road.
Tuncay Korkmaz’s side completed an unbeaten pre-season programme by thrashing Spalding United 4-0 on Saturday – despite having a number of players unavailable.
Jamie Graham’s hat-trick and a stunning strike by Ryan Oliver provided another boost for Deeping ahead of the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League’s Premier Division opener.
Graham admitted: “It was a good result and we weren’t expecting that!
“There will be a few of the younger lads who came in and will be probably disappointed if they get dropped for Friday’s game.
“After going unbeaten in pre-season, we will be going into the league campaign full of confidence.
“And after finishing fourth last season, you never know – we might even win it.
“We know people will be expecting us to win at home on Friday but we won’t be taking anything for granted.
“There have been a few changes here over the summer but the spirit is very good.
“Personally I like that role just behind the striker where I played on Saturday because I like to get on the ball.”
Meanwhile, Holbeach United – who start their UCL term at Peterborough Northern Star on Sunday – head to Coalville Town tonight in a final friendly.
