Bourne Town manager Rafa Mazzarella has vowed to “give it a go” in tonight’s trip to Yaxley.
They meet in the Hinchingbrooke Cup quarter-final with the Wakes on top form following four successive wins in Division One.
Bourne were without a game at the weekend and they should be boosted by the return of Dan Wilson and Dan Smith against the Premier Division side.
Mazzarella said: “We are confident and this is a good opportunity for some of our younger lads.
“We will give it a go and see what happens.”
Peterborough Northern Star await the winners of this evening’s tie.
Deeping Rangers have already booked their place in the final which will be played at Huntingdon Town on Monday, May 11.
