Spalding United are outside the play-off pack on goals scored after being held at home by league leaders Mickleover Sports.

The Tulips were 2-0 up at half-time against Mickleover Sports but two late goals from veteran striker Gary Ricketts rescued a point for the Derby side.

Low finishes from Avelino Vieira (14 minutes) and Tom Waumsley (19) put Spalding in control, although keeper Michael Duggan made a series of saves.

Ricketts replied after 70 and 80 points as Sports extended their unbeaten run to 11 games.

Meanwhile, Deeping Rangers skipper David Burton-Jones was taken to hospital with a head injury during their goalless draw at Peterborough Northern Star.

Bourne Town were knocked out of the Hinchingbrooke Cup with a 2-0 defeat at Yaxley
