Marcus Ebdon is hoping that Spalding United get a chance to return to winning ways in Tuesday night’s trip to Gresley.
The Derbyshire club’s home game was called off on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch while the Tulips lost 2-0 at Stafford Rangers.
Spalding boss Ebdon said: “We didn’t really play well in the first half and conditions were awful.
“After they went down to 10 men we didn’t pass the ball and it was a bad day at the office.
“Fingers crossed the game is on at Gresley as we need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.
“We need to return to how we were playing in those six league games before Saturday and focus on doing what we are good at.”
Ebdon is also hoping to strengthen the squad ahead of Saturday’s home game with Basford United.
