SPALDING United, Holbeach United and Deeping Rangers all tasted defeat in the UCL Premier Division on Saturday.
The Tulips were trounced 5-0 at St Ives Town, while the Tigers went down 2-1 at Newport Pagnell Town and Deeping were beaten 3-2 by unbeaten Long Buckby.
It’s now two heavy defeats on the bounce for Andy Stanhope’s Spalding, who were put to the sword by a Stuart Cobb hat-trick at Westwood Road.
A disputed Dom Lawless penalty four minutes from time accounted for John Chand’s Holbeach. They had led at the break through a spot-kick from Luke Kennedy, but Daren Dykes levelled for the Swans a minute after the interval.
Meanwhile, Tuncay Korkmaz’s Deeping were desperately unlucky at Outgang Road. Fazel Koriya gave Buckby the lead from the spot (18), but Kev Gilbert’s 65th minute strike levelled matters.
Russ Dunkley put the Bucks back ahead within a minute, only for Matt Heron to hit a dramatic last-minute equaliser.
Deeping’s joy was short-lived though, with Koriya burying an injury-time winner.
In UCL Division One, Josh Kamau’s debut decider earned Bourne Town a 4-3 success at Rothwell Town.
Alex Brockbank (2) and Dan Mason were also on target as the Wakes won for the first time in nine games.
Elsewhere, Luke Wilson’s strike helped Pinchbeck United pick up a fine 1-0 win at Eye Sports in the Peterborough Premier Division.
Moulton Harrox were also victorious, as they saw off Parson Drove 4-3.
