Tom Roberts wants to focus on picking up points over the festive programme after Holbeach United sacked boss Darren Jarvis.
The Tigers accused Jarvis of ‘putting the club at risk’ by spending more than the agreed playing budget.
Jarvis responded to the club’s statement by claiming it contained ‘many mistruths’.
The dismissal of Jarvis came as a shock because less than 24 hours earlier he had steered Holbeach to second place in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division with a 3-1 victory at Deeping Rangers.
The Tigers are also through to the quarter-finals of the UCL Knockout Cup following a splendid run in the Emirates FA Cup.
Roberts and Andrew Tidswell will be in charge for Saturday’s home game against Sileby Rangers.
Last weekend’s trip to Kirby Muxloe was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Roberts said: “We brought the lads in for a team meeting on Saturday to clear the air.
“A few people got some issues off their chests and now we can all move forward.
“I haven’t really thought about the manager’s job to be honest but we will take over for Saturday’s game.
“We’ve got to concentrate on the football side and try to carry on the form we have been showing since the start of the season.
“There is no reason for our results to change and all the players know what they have go to do. Now it’s up to them to put everything into practice.
“We are looking forward to a busy spell of matches with Sileby Rangers, Wisbech Town and Yaxley.”
