Friendship turns into rivalry for 90 minutes on Tuesday night as Deeping Rangers take on Holbeach United at the Haydon Whitham Stadium.
Managers Michael Goode and Darren Jarvis worked together at Peterborough Northern Star but now they are on opposite sides in search of three points.
At the start of last month Holbeach took the derby-day honours with a 3-1 victory at Carter’s Park.
Jordan Thomas broke the deadlock on 18 minutes and Jake Clitheroe quickly doubled the Tigers’ advantage.
Jezz Goldson-Williams pulled one back on 81 minutes but soon afterwards Clitheroe restored the two-goal lead.
Only two points separate the sides before kick-off so victory for Rangers would lift them above Holbeach into third place.
Deeping are unbeaten in 10 home league games since Goode replaced Tuncay Korkmaz.
Holbeach have not lost away from home in eight UCL Premier Division matches since the opening day of the season at Desborough Town.
