Darren Jarvis’ first game in charge of Holbeach United ended in a 3-0 defeat on Tuesday night.
The Tigers went down at Thurnby Nirvana in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League’s Premier Division with the Leicester side’s goals coming from Matt Melbourne, Will Gonga and Liam Canavan.
Holbeach’s third successive loss means they have gone five games without a win since the departure of joint-manager Graham Drury whose exit was followed by the resignation of John Chand plus Jarvis’ appointment last weekend.
Meanwhile, it was a frustrating night for Deeping Rangers who were held to a goalless draw at home to Sleaford Town who played for 70 minutes with 10 men after Terry Fleming was dismissed for two bookable offences, both for dissent.
It was a good evening for Bourne Town, though, with a 3-1 victory at rock-bottom Stewarts & Lloyds Corby in Division One.
The Wakes struck three times before the break to follow up Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Burton Park Wanderers.
