Tuncay Korkmaz wants 21 points from 18 games for Deeping Rangers to secure a top-eight finish this season.
He revealed the target after Tuesday’s home defeat to Boston Town.
The Deeping boss said: “The pressure we are under now is whether we can get some points against the top sides and nick a few draws here and there.
“It doesn’t help that we’ve had six red cards this season but I’ve got no complaints over the penalty and sending-off against Boston.
“With ten men we gave it a go but the second goal was harsh because the free-kick was taken quickly about eight yards further forward and we also felt the goalscorer was offside.
“Our squad was depleted but overall we didn’t do well enough.
“In the opening half an hour we didn’t really get going and then we went 1-0 down with ten men.”
Joe Braithwaite is set to return as Deeping head to Thurnby Nirvana on Saturday.
Striker Adam Scotcher and defender Spencer Tinkler are serving three-match bans.
