Winger Kieron Davies has left Spalding United after just four appearances.

The 24-year-old scored six minutes into his debut to earn a 1-0 home win over Romulus last month.

But after spending only 187 minutes on the pitch for the Tulips, Davies dropped down a level to sign for Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Worksop Town on Tuesday.

Tigers boss Mark Shaw said: “He’s a good attacking wide forward who I have known about for some years.

“We lost out on him to Spalding, which was disappointing, around a month and a half ago, so I’m pleased once he became available he was willing to come to us.”
