John Chand has quit as Holbeach United manager just weeks after leading them to the United Counties League premier division title.
The circumstances of his resignation are not yet known. On Twitter this evening Chand said: “Just wanted to personally thank everyone at Holbeach United for the great times over the last three seasons. Plenty of great memories.
“We finished with a league title against all odds. I am now going to enjoy some family time with Becky and wait for our new arrival.”
A further blow for Tigers fans will be that Rob Hughes has left the club to sign for Yaxley and Andy Toyne is understood to be heading to Lincoln United. The Free Press also knows of three other influential players that are leaving the club.
