BOSTON United’s ‘In The Community’ programme is bringing a girls’ football course to Spalding.
The sessions, to be held at Sir John Gleed School boys’ campus on a Monday night (6pm-7.30pm), will cost £2.50 per week and are open to girls aged between eight and 11.
The Spalding sessions are aimed to help girls develop better agility, balance and co-ordination – making them an all-round better athlete. Fun activities will help improve the player’s ability to work as part of a team, solve problems and make decisions, while building confidence in physical activity.
The sessions are indoors during the winter months, meaning appropriate indoor footwear is required.

The introduction of the Spalding sessions are part of Boston’s Pilgrims Legacy Project, which recently received a massive £49,679 funding boost from Sport England.
