Holbeach kept their title aspirations alive when they avenged their opening day defeat at the Waterworks Field by beating Desborough 3-1 on Saturday.
It was the visitors who took the lead in the 37th minute through Leo Adams, but a penalty converted by Josh Ford levelled the scores on the stroke of half time.
After the break, the Tigers took charge and Ford gave them the lead on 59 minutes. Nick Jackson sealed the win for Tigers ten minutes from time.
The result saw Holbeach move into the top three in the Premier Division table.
In a mid-week game at Sleaford on Wednesday, Tigers lost a two-goal advantage to share the points with their hosts.
Holbeach, who had Josh Ford sent off for a second bookable offence 15 minutes from time, were two-up thanks to goals from Andy Tidswell and Jake Clitheroe, before Sleaford hit back twice in injury time, through Luke Hollingworth and Ryan Oliver to earn a draw.
