South Holland duo Holbeach United and Spalding United will both receive awards at the United Counties League’s AGM on June 12.
Double-winning Holbeach boss John Chand will collect the 2013 manager of the year trophy, having guided the Tigers to the UCL Premier Division and Lincs FA Senior Trophy titles.
Spalding, meanwhile, will be given the UCL’s ‘highest aggregate of goals’ trophy.
The award pays homage to the Tulips’ extraordinary firepower last season, which saw them score 117 league goals – three more than Holbeach and St Ives Town.
It has also been confirmed that Shepshed Dynamo and Quorn have moved sideways to the Midland Alliance League.
With St Ives also promoted to the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central, their places are taken by Wisbech Town (as reported in Tuesday’s Lincolnshire Free Press), Woodford United (relegated from Southern League Division One Central) and Godmanchester Rovers – although they are appealing their switch from the Thurlow Nunn League.
