HOLBEACH United smashed an incredible 16 goals past Old Leake on Tuesday night, while Spalding United beat Louth Town 4-2.

Addie Staffieri led the Tigers’ charge with four goals, while Jamie Stevens and Andrew Tidswell both plundered hat-tricks.

Tommy Treacher (2), Jonny Rowan (2), Mitch Griffiths and Pete Smith completed the scoring for Holbeach, who have won all five of their pre-season fixtures.

Spalding were also on-song at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field, with Liam Hook and Liam Harrold firing them into an early 2-0 lead.

Louth battled back to level, but second-half goals from Josh Ford and a trialist sealed the win for the Tulips.

Elsewhere, Pinchbeck United won 2-0 at Raunds Town, Deeping Rangers beat Soham Town Rangers 3-0 and Bourne Town drew 0-0 at Yaxley.
