FOOTBALL: Harrox held in stalemate

Have your say

MOULTON HARROX 0 DEEPING RANGERS RES 0: HARROX kept a fourth clean-sheet in a row as they maintained their unbeaten start to the Peterborough League Premier Division season on Saturday.

Deeping opened the brighter and hit the post on 20 minutes through Lewis Leckie. That was as good as it got for either side in the first period, though.

Moulton’s best chance of the game arrived just after the break. Chris Hall’s header from a Jon Ball free kick found Steve Mastin wide open in front of goal. However, he stumbled on the ball and his tame shot was cleared off the line with ease.

Sub Joe Harrison also came close with the last kick of the game, but a draw was the right result.

Moulton’s man of the match was Darren Earth, who was fantastic in defence.
