DRAWS were the order of the day in UCL Premier Division on Tuesday night as Spalding United were held 0-0 at Sleaford Town and Deeping Rangers fought back to tie 1-1 with S & L Corby at Outgang Road.

On a terrible night for football, the Tulips escaped from Eslaforde Park with a goalless draw – the second stalemate between the two teams this season.

The point does move Spalding back into the top ten, though.

Meanwhile, Rangers fell a goal down against their Corby visitors when Daryl Lawman scored with a low shot from the edge of the box on 63 minutes.

But Matt Heron headed home Kevin Brader’s cross seven minutes from time to earn a share of the spoils.
