GOALS from Chris Logan and Harry Deane earned Deeping Rangers an impressive 2-0 victory over Spalding United on Tuesday night.
In what proved a relatively low-key affair at Outgang Road, Logan headed home a dominant opener from a Deane corner just before half time.
Chris Hall and Franny Green had excellent chances to level either side of the break, but it was Rangers who looked the more likely to score a second.
And, after Alex Beck rattled the far post, they did just that when Deane waltzed through to calmly slot past Lee Drury eight minutes from time.
Deeping’s win ends Spalding’s eight-game winning run and leaves them five points behind leaders St Ives in third. Rangers stay fourth, but are now just one point behind the Tulips.
