Saturday’s football fixtures were battered by heavy rain as only a handful of games managed to beat the weather.

With all of the United Counties League fixtures rained off, all eyes were on the clutch of matches in the ChromaSport Peterborough League and Boston and District League that did go ahead,

In the Peterborough Premier Division, Crowland Town were handed a humbling 10-0 reverse at Netherton United, while in Division One Moulton Harrox Reserves drew 1-1 with Langtoft United.

Down in Division Four, Baston Reserves managed to get their game on - but they were seen off 3-1 at their ‘Goat Pen’ by Glinton United.

Also in Division Four, Sutton Bridge United Reserves were edged out 2-1 by Stamford Bels at home, while Tydd St Mary crashed out of the PFA Junior Cup 2-1 at Thorney Reserves.
