Holbeach United 4 Deeping Rangers 0
Remember the name - Lee Dube.
On this form he might not be scoring goals at Holbeach United for too much longer because bigger clubs will surely take interest.
Dube’s hat-trick - taking his tally to five in just three games - secured another win for the Tigers, showing why they were widely tipped to be favourites for the United Counties League Premier Division title.
But it was a night to forget for Deeping Rangers who suffered their first defeat of the campaign after two comfortable home wins.
It took just eight minutes for Dube to open the scoring when he headed home Lee Beeson’s cross.
The powerful frontman had started the move by holding off Scott Ginty in the centre circle, allowing Jake Duffy to feed Beeson on the left wing for a cross which invited the finish beyond Deeping number one James Doughty.
Midway through the second half it was 2-0 as Doughty spilled Ash Fuller’s cross and Duffy was fouled. From the penalty spot Beeson slotted in.
The Tigers went down to 10 men just before the half-hour mark, though, as Jake Gibson was dismissed for a high challenge on Craig Parker.
But seven minutes later Ginty was shown the red card for fouling Duffy and it became 10-a-side.
Rangers boss Tuncay Korkmaz made tactical changes but it was game over when Dube raced clear to make it 3-0.
And he completed the treble by nodding home the fourth goal with 20 minutes to go.
