Pinchbeck United will make their first-ever appearance in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.

The Knights head to Rothwell Corinthians in the extra preliminary round.

They met last weekend at the Sir Halley Stewart Field when Pinchbeck won 2-1 on their debut in the Future Lions United Counties League Premier Division.

Player-manager Ian Dunn said: “This is another historic game for the club after two promotions.

“Based on last Saturday, we feel we can get something positive out of this weekend’s fixture as well.

“We’ll go there and give it everything. We caused them problems last time so I’m sure we can do it again.”

The winners are away to Barton Rovers on August 25.

Ash Murrell should be back in the squad but Nick Bishop and Lee Beeson are banned.

Pinchbeck are unbeaten in 30 games after Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Boston Town.

Jack Smith and Fraser Bayliss were sent off while Tom Sergeant scored the second-half equaliser with 10 men.
