Holbeach United boss wants consistency and work-rate

Fifth-placed Holbeach United face Cogenhoe United at Carter’s Park following last weekend’s impressive home win over Rugby Town.

Liam Adams struck twice at the end of the first half after Jonny Lockie’s opener had been cancelled out.

Tigers boss Danny Hussey said: “Performances are more important than results because consistency will brings us more points if we are playing well.

“We are getting better options off the bench after injury problems but we still need to get the fitness levels up to scratch.

“The players need to work away from one training session every week if they want to start games.

“We’ve set standards in terms of work-rate in the last two performances at home.”

The wait is over for Hussey
