FOOTBALL: Spalding United bring three in

Spalding United have announced three new signings and ten contract renewals.

The midfielder tweeted: “Buzzing to be back playing this year at @SpaldingUnited”

Last season’s player of the year Kegan Everington, Jenk Acar, Taron Hare, Neal Spafford, George Zuerner and keepers Michael Duggan and Alex Smith have all re-signed.

Assistant manager Lewis Thorogood said securing the services of “some very talented players” represented a good spell, adding: “We’ve worked hard over the last couple of weeks to get the players in we want, prepared to work hard as a team and meet the style of football we wish to play and ethos we want.”
