Tydd St Giles golfers raise cash for Prostate Cancer UK




Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s seniors put on a sponsored charity event to raise money for prostate cancer.

This was the first charity day the seniors had been able to put on since Covid restrictions were introduced.

Organizer Toby North, who is prostate cancer ambassador at the club, was pleased to announce that £700 was raised for Prostate Cancer UK.

The competition was played in less than perfect weather conditions, but was enjoyed by all.

Toby thanked all for taking part and gave special thanks to the sponsors, including Kerry Global, Matterhorn, Quay Central and ADS.

Competition winner was Andy Betts with 38 points, 2nd Peter Sharpe 36,3rd David Abram.
