Sutton teams look to continue great starts

Have your say

Long Sutton Cricket Club hopes to continue its great start to the season this weekend, with both its sides currently sitting pretty at the top of their South Lincs and Border League divisions.

The firsts head division one and will need to be at their very best to consolidate their lofty position with a victory against on-form Blankney.

Meanwhile the second eleven, who have won four out of four this season, will fancy their chances of retaining their division two top spot when they travel to play Boston 3rd, who have been defeated in three of their four outings.

In the premier division, Moulton Harrox will be looking to avoid defeat for the first time this season, but it will be tough as visitors Boston boast a 100 per cent record.

Spalding 2nd travel to Market Deeping 2nd in division one and, in division two, high-flying Spalding 3rd entertain lowly Grantham 2nd while Pinchbeck travel to play Welby 2nd.

All matches are due to start at 1.30pm.
