Warren Nel smashed an unbeaten 103 in Spalding’s 10-wicket victory at Long Sutton in the Premier Division on Saturday.

Josh Newton (60no) offered plenty of support as Town reached 170-0 at the start of the 31st over.

The home side had been restricted to 169-5 in their 45 overs.

Spalding are third with Billingborough in fourth.

Market Deeping 2nd (242-8) lie second following victory over Stamford Town (184) in which Richard Witt hit 91.

Bourne 2nd (220-8) beat Grantham (122).

Newly-promoted Baston top Division One despite going down by 84 runs to Welby Cavaliers.

James Tickler hit 85 not out for Baston (149 all out) as Tom Wilkin finished not out on 100 in Welby Cavaliers’ 233-8.

Spalding 2nd lie second following a seven-wicket win over Moulton Harrox.

Nobody even made double figures as Harrox were all out for 43 in the 19th over.

Billingborough 2nd’s first game of the season brought a win over Skegness 2nd after Mitch Griffiths hit 78 and Shaun Brown claimed six wickets.

Skegness were dismissed on 110 in reply to 192-8.

Claypole lead the way in Division Two, beating Graves Park by 35 runs despite being bowled out for just 124.

Nick Crook notched up the highest score of the day with 118 for Pinchbeck who beat Grantham 4th while team-mate Danny Jackson made 105.

They put on 202 for the first wicket and Pinchbeck recorded the highest total of the day with 283-3.

Crook hit 13 boundaries and Jackson managed one more.

Ten-man Grantham 4th were all out for 77 with Haydn Roberts taking six wickets.
