Spalding Sharks edged past Moulton in a thrilling Border County Youth Cricket Association U13 match.

Moulton decided to bat first but early wickets from Joe Stevens and Nicholas Carter slowed them down before William Naylor (12) and Daniel Grant (32 ret) put on 44 together.
Moulton finished on 108, with special mention going to Johnny Manton who bowled a superb spell of 0-0 in four consecutive maiden overs.
Like Moulton, Spalding also lost two early wickets, the second after a great 20-yard direct throw run-out hit from Adam Cornwell.
However, while wickets were falling at the other end, opener Patrick Harrington batted to 33 retired, including six boundaries.
Moulton bowler Daniel Grant was doing his best to keep the scoring down with 2-11, but Joe Stevens (25 not out), A Lanning (18) and Alan Charevicius hit the Sharks towards victory in the 18th over.
