Spalding retained their seven-point lead in the Premier Division with a seven-wicket win over Grantham 2nd.

Hafiz Majeed was unbeaten on 85 to continue his fine form this season.

Second-placed Sleaford 2nd also picked up 20 points against Belton Park.

David Christmas scored the division’s only century with 108 to help Bourne 2nd to the highest team total of 237-4 against Billingborough who were bowled out for 180.

Three half-centuries and a five-wicket haul were the highlights of Woodhall Spa’s victory over Long Sutton –Chris Booth hitting 62 and Matt Sargeant claiming 5-45 before Natham Carter and Rob Bee hit 56 and 59 respectively, both not out.

Boston 2nd stay third after beating Stamford by eight wickets.

Freiston failed to take advantage of Division One leaders Spalding 2nd’s defeat by Welby Cavaliers, going down by just four runs in a tight game against Timberland who were all out for 145.

Frieston’s chase was going along steadily until the introduction to the attack of Daniel Blankley whose eight-over spell brought him 6-36 including the final wicket which fell on 141.

Welby set Spalding 2nd an even lower total of 136 then bowled the leaders out for 98.

Baston stay third with a three-wicket win over Grantham 3rd.

Heckington claimed a welcome win over Billingborough 2nd with Will Charlesworth making the division’s top score of 85.

Claypole are building an almost unassailable lead in Division Two after beating third-placed Graves Park and Boston 3rd stay second after victory over Long Sutton 2nd.

Burgh & District lie fourth after being bowled out for 116 by Pinchbeck who were then all out for 84.
