BOURNE made the highest total in the Lincs ECB Premier League on Saturday as they climbed up to third in the table.
The defending champions racked up 251-5 against bottom side Nettleham, with Charlie Hopkins (87no) and Conrad Louth (67) leading the charge.
Nettleham were then skittled out for just 100, allowing Bourne to leap up to their best position of the season so far.
They are just a point ahead of rivals Market Deeping, who hung on for a losing draw against lowly Woodhall Spa at Outgang Road.
Batting first in a game reduced to 92 overs, the side sitting second-from-bottom racked up an imposing 228-7 with Jack Luffman hitting 66.
Josh Green (3-56) was the pick of the Deeping bowlers. In reply, the hosts stuttered their way to 178-9 in their 46 overs.
Teenager Josh Bowers top scored with 37, while Thomas Andrews added 36.
But it was a stubborn 19 not out from number ten Green that helped Deeping secure a share of the spoils.
Bourne host Louth on Saturday, while Deeping visit Sleaford (12.30pm).
