Spalding and Woodhall Spa 2nd continue to battle it out for the Premier Division title.

Saturday’s home win over Stamford kept Spalding
seven points ahead with the advantage of a game in hand on their rivals.

Jonathan Miles took four wickets as Stamford were dismissed for 125.

Skipper Josh Newton led the reply with an unbeaten half-century for a six-wicket victory.

Ben Troops and Ben Hutson each claimed six wickets for Boston 2nd and Sleaford 2nd respectively at Bourne 2nd and Long Sutton.

Division One is also tight as Graves Park trail Belton Park by 13 points with a game in hand and Moulton Harrox still having an outside chance of making the top two.

Jack Barnett got five wickets as Harrox beat Spalding 2nd and Luke Pollard took six for Belton Park at Market Deeping 2nd.

Pinchbeck are assured promotion from Division Two with Boston 3rd more than 30 points adrift in second place.

Opener Harry Wilkinson-Roberts fell two short of a half-century for Pinchbeck but Mike Knight and Andrew Beeston picked up four wickets each to dismiss Long Sutton 2nd.

The match between Billingborough 2nd and Boston 3rd brought two centuries - Chris King making an unbeaten 107, only for Rowan Evans to reply with 121 not out.
