CRICKET: Defeats for Bourne and Market Deeping

Market Deeping dropped one place in the league table after losing to unbeaten leaders Bracebridge Heath.

The home side’s bowling attack earned another win after their innings ended on 208.

Carl Stubbs was last man standing - one short of a half-century - as he put on 64 for the sixth wicket with Stuart Fraser-Cattanach (43).

Mehul Adatia and Sachithra Perera claimed three wickets each.

Deeping were reduced to 89-6 until Pat Harrington (35) and skipper Dave Sargeant (30no) offered some resistance.

Alex Moor wrapped up the victory with four wickets.

Grantham picked up 20 points at Bourne who were all out for 210.

Captain Pete Morgan hit 57 with support from Quewin O'Connor (37) and Joey Evison (34).

Daniel Freeman took four wickets then finished unbeaten on 44 following an innings of 76 from 16-year-old Jaden Fell.

Grantham recorded a six-wicket win in the 48th over.
