In response to the article in this week’s Free Press regarding the growth of Holbeach, I would like to say that I am all for the regeneration of the town.
It seems to me that there are some people who do not want change. Their attitude is to leave the town as it is.
Do they not realise that more people will help the town, enabling shops to flourish and extra facilities to be introduced.
It is quite sad when you walk along the town and see all empty buildings in a state of disrepair.
As for the parking issue, has anyone ever seen all the car parks full? I don’t think so.
The parish council should welcome investment, instead of moaning all the time. After all, I’m sure it won’t affect their jobs.
Let’s get moving and make Holbeach a better place for everyone.
