Have your say

Regarding the extra trains through Spalding. I agree with the writer last week that if you live near a railway line you must expect trains but I do not think it is necessary for trains to sound their horn as late as they did last Saturday week.

They had been going past all day without sounding their horns and at 9.10pm, 9.40pm and 10.10pm they sounded horns, not as they approached the crossing but were past it. A lot of old people live near the railway line and people with pets also find it disturbing.

People are coping with the extra trains and the train drivers should consider the local people.
